A new modular BERD bridge, which benefits a population of 16,000 people, was quickly assembled and installed by the C/M Huascaran Engineering Battalion No 112 – Tingo Maria.
The Amistad Bridge was installed in the districts of Pachas and Yanas, in the department of Huanuco, in Peru. These districts were separated by the Viscarra River, which made it difficult to connect and develop.
This MB60 bridge, 56 m long and 4.20 m wide, joins the many BERD bridges installed in Peru by the Ministry of Transport and Communications – Provias Descentralizado.
